What Is a GENZ Volunteer Member Card ?

The GENZ Volunteer Member Card is a voluntary non-artist membership program offered by All India Film and TV Entertainment Artists Welfare Association (AIFAWA) for individuals who wish to support artists, creative talent, cultural development, and community welfare, even if they are not artists themselves.

GENZ stands for General Zonal Support Program, created to encourage responsible individuals to contribute at the local, district, regional, and national levels in artist welfare and community support activities, strictly in accordance with Association policies, applicable laws, and prior approvals.

A strong creative ecosystem is built not only by artists but also by responsible volunteers, mentors, coordinators, organizers, and ethical supporters. The GENZ Volunteer Membership Program provides a structured and lawful opportunity for such individuals to contribute towards the charitable and welfare objectives of AIFAWA.

Important Note:
The GENZ Volunteer Member Card is a voluntary support membership issued by AIFAWA. It is not an Artist Membership Card and does not create any employment relationship, representative authority, agency, partnership, franchise, financial entitlement, or legal authority on behalf of AIFAWA. Participation in Association activities is subject to applicable rules, eligibility, verification, and prior approval wherever required.

Who Can Apply for a GENZ Volunteer Member Card ?

You do not need to be an artist to apply.

You may apply if:

  • You are interested in films, television, OTT, digital media, music, theatre, dance, photography, media, or other creative arts.
  • You are a family member, mentor, guide, educator, supporter, or well-wisher of artists and creative professionals.
  • You wish to help artists through guidance, awareness, community support, or approved initiatives.
  • You wish to organize or support cultural, educational, awareness, or creative activities, subject to prior approval by AIFAWA.
  • You want to contribute to artist welfare and community development at the local, district, regional, or national level.
  • You believe in ethical conduct, discipline, transparency, and long-term community development.
  • You wish to become a registered GENZ Volunteer Member of AIFAWA and support its charitable and welfare objectives.

What You Can Do as a GENZ Volunteer Member

As a GENZ Volunteer Member, you may:

  • Support artist welfare, educational, cultural, awareness, and community development initiatives undertaken by AIFAWA.
  • Assist in Association-approved cultural, educational, creative, and community activities.
  • Help connect local artists with information, guidance, awareness programmes, and lawful opportunities for learning and development, wherever appropriate.
  • Coordinate, volunteer, or assist in Association-approved programmes, events, workshops, awareness campaigns, and community outreach activities.
  • Promote ethical practices, community participation, and responsible support for artists and creative professionals.
  • Contribute towards strengthening grassroots artist welfare and community engagement in accordance with Association policies.

All activities undertaken by GENZ Volunteer Members shall be ethical, structured, lawful, approval-based, and carried out in accordance with applicable laws, Association rules, and prior authorization wherever required.

What This Card Is NOT

  • ❌ This is NOT an Artist Membership Card.
  • ❌ It does NOT provide employment, work permits, employment authorization, auditions, casting opportunities, or project assignments.
  • ❌ It does NOT grant representative authority, agency, decision-making power, contractual authority, or legal authority on behalf of AIFAWA.
  • ❌ It does NOT create any membership rights under the Artist Membership Program.

GENZ stands for General Zonal Support Program, enabling registered volunteer members to contribute at the local, district, regional, or national level through Association-approved activities, subject to applicable laws, Association policies, and prior approvals.

Note: All fees mentioned are payable in Indian Rupees (INR).

Important Terms & Conditions

General Rules
  • Membership may be suspended or terminated for violation of Association rules, policies, code of conduct, or applicable laws.
  • Fraud, misrepresentation, misconduct, or submission of false information may result in immediate suspension or termination of membership.
  • No refund shall be payable after suspension or termination of membership.
  • Membership is personal, non-transferable, and non-assignable.
  • All decisions regarding membership shall be subject to the final approval of the AIFAWA Executive Committee.
Payment & Benefits
  • Payment of the membership fee does not guarantee any position, role, authority, employment, project assignment, or specific benefit.
  • Participation in events, programmes, workshops, or volunteer activities is subject to eligibility, availability, and prior approval by AIFAWA.
  • No refund shall be provided for unused membership benefits or voluntary non-participation.
  • Annual membership does not create lifetime membership rights or permanent privileges.
Volunteer Conduct Policy
  • Volunteer Members may participate only in Association-approved activities and within the scope of responsibilities assigned by AIFAWA.
  • Certain activities, events, campaigns, or initiatives may require prior written approval from AIFAWA.
  • Use of the AIFAWA name, logo, branding, identity, or official materials requires prior written authorization.
Donation & Fundraising Policy
  • Donations or contributions may be accepted only through official AIFAWA channels.
  • Volunteer Members shall not collect donations, sponsorships, cash, or use personal QR codes, bank accounts, or payment links in the name of AIFAWA without prior written authorization.
  • Unauthorized fundraising or misuse of the Association's name may result in disciplinary action, termination of membership, and legal action where applicable.
Card Usage
  • The GENZ Volunteer Member Card does not authorize the holder to enter into contracts, make financial commitments, issue official statements, or legally represent AIFAWA.
  • Any misuse of the Membership Card or misrepresentation of authority may result in suspension, termination, disciplinary action, or legal proceedings.
Legal
  • These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India.
  • All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.
  • The interpretation and implementation of these Terms & Conditions by the AIFAWA Executive Committee shall be final, subject to applicable laws.
