All India Film and TV Entertainment Artists Welfare Association (AIFAWA)

AIFAWA is incorporated under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 and operates exclusively for charitable, educational, cultural, welfare, skill development, awareness, artist welfare, community development, and public benefit purposes.

AIFAWA is a welfare-focused organization operating under applicable laws and its governing documents. This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all payments, donations, membership fees, registration fees, event fees, workshop fees, sponsorship contributions, welfare contributions, and other payments made to AIFAWA through its website, online platforms, payment gateways, bank transfers, or any authorized payment channels.

By making any payment to AIFAWA, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.

1. GENERAL POLICY

All payments made to AIFAWA are considered final and are subject to the terms of this Policy.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly approved by AIFAWA, all payments shall be non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-adjustable.

2. DONATIONS

All donations made to AIFAWA are voluntary contributions made in support of its charitable, educational, welfare, cultural, and public benefit objectives.

Once a donation is successfully processed:

• It shall be non-refundable.
• It shall be non-transferable.
• It shall not be adjusted against any future payment.
• It shall not create any right, entitlement, privilege, preference, or benefit.

Donors are requested to carefully verify payment details before making any donation.

3. ARTIST MEMBERSHIP CARD FEES

All Artist Membership Card fees, application fees, registration fees, renewal fees, late fees, verification fees, and related charges are non-refundable.

No refund shall be provided in cases including but not limited to:

• Membership application rejection
• Failure to provide required documents
• Ineligibility
• Membership suspension
• Membership termination
• Membership cancellation
• Blacklisting
• Voluntary withdrawal
• Non-utilization of membership benefits
• Expiry of membership

4. GENZ MEMBERSHIP FEES

All GENZ Membership fees, registration charges, renewal fees, and related payments are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-adjustable.

No refund shall arise from:

• Non-participation
• Non-utilization of membership
• Voluntary withdrawal
• Suspension or termination of membership
• Change of personal circumstances

5. WORKSHOPS, TRAINING PROGRAMS & EVENTS

All fees paid for workshops, seminars, conferences, training programs, awareness programs, events, certifications, cultural programs, and other activities conducted or supported by AIFAWA are non-refundable.

Failure to attend, participate, complete, or utilize any event or program shall not entitle a participant to any refund.

6. SPONSORSHIPS, CONTRIBUTIONS & WELFARE PAYMENTS

All sponsorship payments, support contributions, welfare contributions, grants, and similar payments made to AIFAWA shall be treated as final and non-refundable unless otherwise specifically agreed in writing by AIFAWA.

7. DUPLICATE PAYMENTS OR TECHNICAL ERRORS

In the event of:

• Duplicate payments
• Multiple deductions for the same transaction
• Proven payment gateway errors
• Verified technical processing errors

AIFAWA may review the matter and, upon verification, may issue an appropriate correction or refund.

The decision of AIFAWA shall be final and binding.

8. NO TRANSFER OR ADJUSTMENT

Payments made to AIFAWA shall not be:

• Transferred to another person
• Converted into another service
• Adjusted against future payments
• Exchanged for any other membership category
• Converted into donations or vice versa

except where expressly approved in writing by AIFAWA.

9. SUSPENSION, TERMINATION OR DISCIPLINARY ACTION

No refund, reimbursement, compensation, adjustment, or credit shall be payable where:

• Membership is suspended
• Membership is terminated
• Membership is cancelled
• A participant is disqualified
• A member is blacklisted
• Disciplinary action is taken

for any reason whatsoever.

10. FORCE MAJEURE

AIFAWA shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations, interruptions, or inability to conduct programs due to events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, public emergencies, technical failures, pandemics, strikes, or similar circumstances.

No refund obligation shall arise solely because of such circumstances.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

AIFAWA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, reputational, financial, or business loss arising out of:

• Payments made to AIFAWA
• Membership applications
• Membership decisions
• Donation transactions
• Program participation
• Event registrations
• Website transactions

12. POLICY MODIFICATION

AIFAWA reserves the right to amend, revise, modify, suspend, replace, or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice.

The latest version published on the website shall prevail.

13. GOVERNING LAW

This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India.

14. JURISDICTION

Any dispute arising from or relating to this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

By making any payment, donation, contribution, membership fee, registration fee, renewal fee, workshop fee, event fee, sponsorship payment, or any other payment to AIFAWA, the payer expressly acknowledges and agrees that such payment is subject to this Refund & Cancellation Policy and shall ordinarily remain non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-adjustable.
